Yes, the flu has struck our household, specifically ME. Long story short- I thought I had a stomach virus, called midwife, she said based on my symptoms she thinks I have the flu. The reason I am out of bed right now, typing this, is because I am too miserable to sleep. Does anyone feel sorry for me yet? Or am I just being a whiny baby? ha ha
We did get the bad weather last week. It wasn't really bad though, like it was at my parents' house. My kids got out of school early one afternoon and they went in late the next morning, but that was about it. We got a bit of freezing rain, but no pretty snow or icy roads. My parents got 6-8 inches of pretty snow.
Right now dh is in St. Louis. The kids are eating pizza and watching Santa Claus is Coming to Town.
That's about all that's happening around here.
